1.LONG-COOK DEMO: The Double-Life Stock (Page 7)

  • Live Action: Get the stock pot going next since it takes the longest to simmer (45–60 mins).
  • The Demo: Show your frozen bag of clean vegetable scraps and skins.
  • The Anatomy of Herbs: Teach them to separate their herbs live. Explain that leaves are for fresh, citrusy finishes, but the stems are full of concentrated flavor and belong right inside your stock pot.
