minutesI am a big fan of crunchy stuff, and crackers are so delicious for lunch boxes or with a good dip when you have friends or family coming. I also use them sometimes as toppings for my saladβso good and, of course, healthy.
Ingredients
1 cup mixed seeds (such as sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, pepitas, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.)
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano powder
1/2 cup water
1 tsp Avocado oil
1/2 tsp paprika
Directions
- Preheat your oven to (160Β°C). Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mixed seeds, almond flour, salt, and the rest of the spices. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
- Add the water andΒ oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a thick, sticky dough forms. The mixture should hold together when pressed.
- Let the dough rest for about 5-10 minutes to absorb moisture and help bind the crackers.
- Place the dough between two sheets of bakingΒ paper and roll it out thinly using a rolling pin.
- Remove the top layer of baking paper and transfer the rolled-out dough (leaving the bottom one) onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Use a pizza cutter to score the dough into your desired cracker shapes and sizes.
- Bake the seed crackers in the preheated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the crackers are crispy. If you use an Airfryer it can be done in 12 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the crackers from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. Then, break them apart along the scored lines.
